This bird is strange in several ways. On the one hand, the colors do not seem to fit properly, and, on the other hand, it has among the largest feet of all birds. The enormous feet are used to walk on floating vegetation, on the water surface. It is one of the most common waterfowl in the area and it is hard to miss.
Den här fågeln är märklig på flera vis. Dels tycks inte färgerna riktigt passa ihop, dels har den en av fågelvärldens största fötter - givetvis för att kunna gå på tunn vegetation på vattenytan. Det är en av de vanligaste vattenfåglarna i området och svår att ta miste på.
