High up in the Himalayas, this bird was sitting in the top of a tree - a Himalayan white-browed rosefinch. The picture shows two of the species' characteristics: the forked tail and the cone-shaped beak. The Himalayan white-browed rosefinch lives at high altitude (2400-4000 meters above sea level) and the diet consists of seeds, buds, shoots from herbs and shrubs, as well as berries such as e.g. barberry.

Högt uppe i Himalaya satt denna fågel i toppen av ett träd - en vitbrynad rosenfink. På bilden syns två av artens karakteristika: den kluvna stjärten och den konformade näbben. Den vitbrynade rosenfinken lever på hög höjd (2400-4000 meters höjd) och dieten består av frön, knoppar, skott från örter och buskar, samt bär som t.ex. berberis.
