This is a Long-tailed sibia. The first part of the name naturally comes from the long tail. The second part, 'sibia', comes from the Nepali name 'sibya' for its relative Rufous sibia (Heterophasia capistrata). Note that the tip of the tail is white and that the bill is slightly bent downwards. The diet is very varied and consists of e.g. of insects, flower buds, fruits, seeds, berries and nectar.

Detta är en långstjärtad sibia. Första delen av namnet kommer givetvis av den långa stjärten. Andra delen, 'sibia', kommer av det nepalesiska namnet sibya för artfränden rostsibia (Heterophasia capistrata). Notera att stjärtspetsen är vit och att näbben är svagt nedåtböjd. Födan är mycket varierad och består bl.a. av insekter, blomknoppar, frukt, frön, bär och nektar.
