The Himalayan Bulbul is a medium-sized bulbul (19-20 cm), with a characteristic tuft that appears to be fixed with pomade... (In the photo I took in Sattal, India last year, the forward-leaning style of the tuft is even more apparent.) This individual feasts on berries which form an important part of the diet which otherwise consists of fruit, buds and seeds.

(På bilden jag tog i Sattal i Indien förra året syns den framåtlutade stilen på tofsen ännu tydligare.) Den här individen frossar på bär som utgör en viktig del i dieten som annars består av frukt, knoppar och frön.
