This White-throated bulbul has just picked a berry, one of the staple foods of this excellent songbird. It is a bird that is more often heard than seen. It has a wide repertoire of sounds that can be heard far and wide. On this subspecies, you do not see much of the white throat that gave it its name... In other subspecies, however, it is more clearly visible, as a solid, white bib.
Den här vitstrupiga bulbylen har precis plockat ett bär, en av stapelfödorna för denna utmärkta sångfågel. Det är en fågel som oftare hörs än ses. Den har en bred repertoar av läten som hörs vida omkring. På den här underarten syns det inte mycket av den vita strupen som gett den dess namn... Hos andra underarter syns den mera tydligt, som en rejäl, vit haklapp.
