This time we saw a Great hornbill from above! In Bhutan, the height differences are such that one often looks either up or down, e.g. from a mountain road. In this picture we clearly see the slightly cupped cap - which is solid yellow-red and which, together with the white eye, tells us that this is a female!
Den här gången såg vi en större näshornsfågel ovanifrån! I Bhutan är höjdskillnaderna sådana att man ofta skådar antingen uppåt eller nedåt, t.ex. från en bergsväg. På den här bilden ser vi tydligt den något skålade kasken - som är enfärgat gulröd och, som, tillsammans med det vita ögat talar om att detta är en hona!
