We found this Brown-headed barbet next to one of the administration buildings in the Keoladeo Park. The characteristic feature of this bird is the yellow-orange, featherless field around the eye and the dark red bill. Of course, like several other barbets, it has a distinct "mustache" - a number of sprouts protruding from the base of the bill.
Den här brunhuvade barbetten hittade vi invid en av administrationsbyggnaderna i Keoladeo-parken. Det karaktäristiska hos denna fågel är det gul-orangea, fjäderlösa fältet runt ögat och den mörkröda näbben. Som flera andra barbetter har den förstås en tydlig "mustasch" - ett antal spröt som sticker ut från näbbroten.
