This is a female of Superb sunbird. The male is brightly colored while the female has to be content with a brownish green plumage. It is a typical rainforest bird found in Central and West Africa subsisting on the nectar of flowers like the red ones in the picture.
Detta är en hona av praktsolfågel. Hannen är bjärt färgad medan honan får nöja sig med en brunaktigt grön fjäderdräkt. Det är en typisk regnskogsfågel som återfinns i Central- och Västafrika och som huvudsakligen livnär sig på nektar, som från de röda blommorna på bilden.
