This cormorant is perhaps the most common one in the interior of South America. But it navigates in an unusual element, a waterhole completely covered by vegetation. These "green" little lakes are not uncommon in the Gran Chaco area at this time of year, and the cormorant does not seem to have any problems in swimming and fishing in the midst of the "green pulp"...
