This is a male Australian figbird. It is olive green above, yellow below, greyish throat and has a red bare area around the eye. The female is considerably grayer with olive brown uppersides and gray around the eye. The favorite food is fruit - including figs. The species belongs to the Oriolidae family.
Det här är en hane av australisk fikonfågel. Den är olivgrön ovan, gul under, gråaktig hals och har ett rött bart område runt ögat. Honan är betydligt gråare med olivbrun ovansida och grått kring ögat. Favoritföda är frukter - bland annat fikon. Arten tillhör familjen gyllingar och närmaste släkting i Sverige är alltså sommargylling.
