This picture I had little faith that I would ever get to take - a White-backed woodpecker! But thanks to my cousin Per-Olof's local knowledge, we searched in an area where it is usually found. After a few hours of searching, it suddenly came to us - and allowed itself to be photographed!
Den här bilden hade jag svag tro för att jag någonsin skulle få ta - en vitryggig hackspett! Men tack vare min kusin Per-Olofs lokalkunskap letade vi i ett område där den brukar återfinnas. Efter några timmars letande så kom den plötsligt till oss - och lät sig fotograferas!
