This is another leafbird with its characteristic long, slender, slightly crouching profile. The most obvious characteristic of this species is the orange belly in combination with the brilliant blue cheek patches. It breeds at 600 meters to 2,000 meters altitude in the Himalayas. It is omnivorous and consumes insects and arthropods as well as fruits, berries and nectar.
Det här är ytterligare en bladfågel med sin karaktäristiska, långsmala, lite hukande profil. Det tydligaste kännetecknet på arten är den apelsinfärgade buken i kombination med den lysande blåa kindfläcken. Den häckar på 600 meter till 2.000 meters höjd i Himalaya. Den är allätare och konsumerar såväl insekter och leddjur, som frukt, bär och nektar.
