This little passerine (12 cm), Rufous-capped babbler, suddenly appeared next to the path. It occurs at an altitude of 600-3,200 meters in the dense undergrowth in moist, permanent deciduous forests. It feeds mainly on insects, sometimes also on berries.
Den här lilla tättingen (12 cm), rödhättad timalia, dök plötsligt upp invid stigen. Den förekommer på 600-3.200 meters höjd i tät undervegetationen i fuktiga, permanenta lövskogar. Den lever huvudsakligen av insekter, ibland även bär.
