A whole little grassy island in the national park filled with Lesser whistling ducks. These birds are gregarious and often forage in groups. They are most active when darkness falls, so this group probably takes the opportunity to take a joint siesta during the warm hours of the day. This duck got its name from the fact that it whistles, especially when flying. This is a rather small whistling duck (only 42 cm).
