Tiny sunbird / Pygmésolfågel

A small and somewhat difficult-to-determine juvenile sunbird appeared in a tree, next to the place where I stood with my camera. You can see on the chest that it is just getting an adult plumage. First, Green sunbird was suggested, but then the choice fell on either Olive-bellied sunbird or Tiny sunbird because the red feathers on the chest are not found in adult Green sunbirds. The choice then fell on the Tiny sunbird because of the fact that the bill is so short which distinguishes this species from the Olive-bellied sunbird. The species is the smallest in the sunbird family and subsists on nectar, insects and spiders.
