Wherever there is a tree in Namibia, it is also possible to encounter the Cape starling, probably the most visible glossy starling i southwestern Africa. Like other glossy starlings, the color of the plumage of this species varies with the light. Its diet includes fruit, insects and nectar.

Varhelst det finns träd i Namibia kan man också finna grönglansstaren, den kanske vanligaste och mest synliga glansstaren i sydvästra Afrika. Som andra glansstarar ändrar sig dess färg efter ljusförhållandena. Dieten inkluderar frukt, insekter och nektar.
