This Chin-spot batis (also called White-flanked batis or flycatcher) belongs to the bird family 'Platysteiridae,' that includes wattle-eyes, batises and shrike-flycatchers. It is found only in Africa, south of the Sahara. This bird subsists on insects and arthropods that it catches in the thickes or trees where it is found. This picture was in such a shrub.
