Just at the edge of the forest, behind my current construction project, a song thrush was singing day after day. Although I have good pictures of song thrushes from before, I felt I had to document the presence of this recent neighbor. So I got hold of my camera and went pretty close before I took this picture - without a hide and without a tripod. (Canon EOS 1D X, Canon EF 600/4L IS II USM, Canon Extender EF 2x III).

Alldeles i skogsbrynet, bakom mitt nuvarande byggprojekt, sjöng dag efter dag en taltrast. Fastän jag sedan tidigare har bra bilder på taltrastar så kände jag att jag måste dokumentera denna grannes närvaro. Jag hämtade således kameran och gick ganska nära innan jag fick denna bild - utan gömsle och utan stativ.
