There are four endemic mockingbird species on the Galapagos, of which I could take photographs of two. In the previous pictures we have seen the most widespread species, the Galapagos mockingbird. This the other species, the Hood (or Española) mockingbird. I photographed it four decades ago, and now it was time again. It is distributed only on Hood (or Española) Island, but you definitely remember it because it is, if possible, even more curious and unabashed than its relative, the Galapagos mockingbird!
