We saw, and I took photographs of, White-tailed eagle six or seven times during our short visit in northern Norway. It is a fact that Norway hosts the largest population of White-tailed eagles i Europe, but I still did not expect to see an eagle almost every day. Three times we came fairly close to a sitting bird - all these opportunities with the car as a hide. On foot it was almost impossible. This picture is taken through an open car window.
