This is a typical flycatcher species, spread over almost the whole of sub-Saharan Africa, but locally rare and difficult to spot. This specimen was sitting in a tree near the road and I could photograph it at a relatively close distance.
En typisk flugsnappare, spridd över nästan hela Afrika söder om Sahara, men lokalt ovanlig och svår att få syn på. Det här exemplaret satt i ett träd nära vägen och jag kunde fotografera det på relativt nära håll.
