This Chiguanco thrush is reminscent of a juvenile Eurasian blackbird but it is mor evenly brown and has reddish eyes. Just like the adult blackbird it has a yellow bill, but also yellower legs. It is fairly common and widespread in the Andean area. We saw it several times. This one I could photograph in an open space, close to the main road.
Chiguancotrasten påminner om en juvenil koltrast men har en mera jämnt brun färg och rödaktiga ögon. Precis som en adult koltrast har den en gul näbb, men också gulare ben. Den är relativt vanlig och vitt spridd i det andinska området. Vi såg den vid flera tillfällen. Den här fotograferade jag på en öppen yta nära vägen.
