This is a medium-sized (18.5–19.5 cm), very characteristic bulbul with its typical black tuft that almost always stands straight up. The light eye shines especially clearly in the dark head... This is a widely distributed Asian species. It is found in a belt from India to Vietnam.
Detta är en medelstor (18,5–19,5 cm), mycket karaktäristisk bulbyl med sin typiska svarta tofs som nästan alltid står rakt upp. Det ljusa ögat lyser extra tydligt i det mörka huvudet... Detta är en vitt spridd asiatisk art. Den återfinns i ett bälte från Indien till Vietnam.
