There are three species of stubtails in the world, all in East and Southeast Asia. This is one of them - the Bornean stubtail, endemic to the island - and "my" first stubtail ever! The fact that the tail is not visible in the picture is because it hardly exists, hence the name. The bird forages on the ground and resembles a small rodent in its behavior. Its favorite food seems to be aphids, but much is still unknown about its behavior, including breeding.
