The Little bee-eater is the smallest of all bee-eaters (only 15-17 cm). It does not live in colonies but is most often seen in pairs. This is the subspecies 'ocularis' which lacks the blue eyebrow stripe.
Dvärgbiätaren är minst av alla biätare (endast 15-17 cm). Den lever inte i kolonier men syns ofta i par. Detta är underarten ocularis som saknar det blåa ögonbrynsstrecket.
