I went down to the pier next to Hotel Mullsjö, not far from the city of Jönköping, and immediately saw a couple of Black-throated loon (also called Arctic loon). After some waiting, they got closer and I was able to take a series of pictures of these strange, almost science fiction-like birds.
Jag gick ner till bryggan invid Hotel Mullsjö och fick direkt syn på ett par storlommar. Efter viss väntan kom de närmare och jag kunde ta en serie bilder på dessa märkliga, nästan science fiction-betonade fåglar.
