The Great grey owl is Sweden's second largest owl - almost as big as the Eagle owl. It is relatively rare but it seems to have spread somewhat south, as here to Bergslagen (and some years to Uppsala). The photo is a bit grainy because we only found this individual late in the evening ...
Lappugglan är Sveriges näst största uggla - nästan lika stor som berguven. Den är relativt sällsynt men tycks ha spritt sig något söderut, som hit till Bergslagen (och vissa år Uppsala). Fotot är litet grynigt eftersom vi hittade den här individen först sent på kvällen...
