This Short-toed rock thrush is perched in a typical position: at the top of a thorn bush of some kind. It is a colorful rock thrush that is limited to two areas, western and central southern Africa. We encountered this individual in the late afternoon, on our way to our lodge. The picture was taken from the car window.
