On the way down from the Cerro Dragon, I stopped, watching a flock of tree finches. Suddenly, this female Vegetarian Finch showed up and perched right next to me. (The exact classification is somewaht uncertain, however, because the size and the color of the bill, the basis for classificaction, varies considerably with the location and the season).
På vägen ner från Cerro Dragón stannade jag upp för att betrakta en flock trädfinkar. Då kom denna finkhona och satte sig alldeles intill mig, förmodligen en tjocknäbbad fink (bestämningen är osäker eftersom näbbstorlek och näbbfärg varierar med lokalen och säsongen).
