This unusually white-headed Cocoi heron was fishing on the outskirts of the biggest town in the Galapagos, Puerto Ayora. The Cocoi heron is perhaps not the most common heron, but it is widely spread throughout South America and a bit up in Central America. Usually, however, the top of the head is completely black.

Denna ovanligt vithuvade cocoihäger stod och fiskade i utkanten av Galapagos största stad, Puerto Ayora. Cocoihägern är kanske inte den vanligaste hägern, men den är vitt spridd över hela Sydamerika och en bit upp i Centralamerika. vanligtvis är dock hjässan helt svart.
